Popular Titles by Doralynn Kennedy
- Her first published book was Sleeping With Skeletons. It was a popular romantic thriller following a double-crossed American spy hiding in Ireland who fell in love with a film star. It is now out of print.
- The Rum Runner: The Legend of Captain John Stewart was her last published novel. It is a sweeping Gothic saga set along the New England coast during the Prohibition era. It was inspired by stories told by one of her favorite grand aunts about how she ran rum during prohibition and once escaped a sheriff by driving her car down a hill and hiding under a bridge. It gave Doralynn a lifetime fascination with the history of Prohibition. She especially loved personal anecdotes and legends surrounding Prohibition. Her favorite legend was one about rum and eternal life. That was the seed of The Cliff House Trilogy. However the name came from a hotel her mother once performed melodramas in when she was a child. The name of that hotel is The Cliff House in Manitou Springs.
- Mystery of the Fox Down Dog and Other Stories also has a story set during prohibition, Night on Bigfoot Mountain. She wrote it when she was nineteen.
- Thirteen Miracles: A genre-blending, faith-driven story about an intense rescue mission inside The Devil's Backbone.
- Grandpa Hare and the Great Pie Robbery, also written when she was nineteen, is a children’s book (ages 4-8) likened to Beatrix Potter.
- She considered Gehenna Revisited: Rebutting Francis Chan to be her most important work.
